If you’ve noticed, my photo gallery is offline with a whole bunch of freaky PHP errors. Tis mainly due to me having to unplug my two 250GB drives from the server as they were constantly crashing the system every time fsck’ed. Thing is I’m not sure whether it’s one or the other or both that’s causing the problems. If I have time, I’ll probably mount it on my Windows machine to transfer the stuff out before the drives die for real.
But before that, I should probably buy some new hard drives to store said data. Fai-chan needs one herself, having only 1GB left on her machine. 
Another problem I have is with my stupid wireless Linksys PCI adaptor. There came a point where my PC just couldn’t start due to BSODs originating from RT2500.sys (a Ralink driver used by this card). Updating the driver to generic Ralink ones would cause erratic connections instead. Updating to SP3 didn’t help. Windows File Protection scans didn’t help either.
Once I’m settled down, I’ll probably make the switch to N. And it damned well won’t be Linksys.
Yup, time to get those swear words out of the main page. Sorry for the long silence, things have been pretty hectic with … stuff. Hopefully I’ll be able to blog more often after everything is settled.

By the time Ogawa called me, I was like, ‘yea, whatever’. I really don’t know what kind of operation they’re doing, but.. yea.. no point getting boiled up over it.
1st check: the salespeople decided that my chair would be Red. Well, better than brown or grey. Treated myself to a short session on a demo unit. Feels real good after gym. Might be another reason why I mellowed.
2nd check: HQ sent all their orders in brown. Haih. Might as well wait, since it’s already close to a month anyways.
So I wanted to purchase a Mobile Seat for my mom for her birthday (That’s Seat not Suit). Went to Fujiryoki in 1 Utama to order one on June 10th. It was out of stock. Fair enough, the salesperson told me I only had to wait 2 days. So I paid my 50 ringgit deposit, and hoped that they’d call me soon.
The weekend arrives. No news.
I ring up the number on the receipt, and they gave me 1U’s number. The guy on the line then tells me that I’d have to wait till Monday. That would be Monday, June 16th.
It’s now bloody June 24th, more than a f-ing week after that, and I still haven’t heard a single word from them. Guess their seats are just selling sooooo well that they don’t even bother with confirmed customers. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but this is a fucking birthday present, so Fujiryoki, you have basically fucking ruined it. Thanks for nothing fools. You should be glad I’m going on a holiday the next few days and have left the task of picking the item up to my brother, otherwise be prepared to get an earful from me.
