Ah, the last entry just gave out too many bad vibes, so here’s a new one. Work’s getting more and more organised, and I’m starting to feel better.
Now if only I could get more sleep, then life wouldn’t be as hard. Problem is, there’s just so many quality manga to read! Yakitate!, Hajime no Ippo, and I’ve finally found a reliable source for Lone Wolf and Cub! Woohoo! Manga manga all night long! Grabbed Eiji vol 8 and Hunter X Hunter vol 15 off a local bookstore; although in Malay, you can still grasp the action and adventure.
*purr*
Sometimes I really amaze myself. Writing programs in three different programming languages for three different projects at the same time is quite confusing, but manageable. I only wish I had the dough to buy myself some reference books and really put my skillz to the test!
As for the interesting thing of the day, I took some time off from work this afternoon to pick my lil bro from school. And he came out late playing football with his buddies! Grr.. I hate it when people are late, excluding myself. Ha! Anyways, it started raining as we reached home, and the rain went really mad. Since I was late for an appointment at the office, I thought I’d take a shortcut through UM. Smart move, NOT! Ended up having to go through three floods: one in the middle of UM, one at the Bangsar exit, and another loooooooooong flash flood along Jalan Pantai. Fortunately my worst fears of stalling in the middle of any of those didn’t materialise. And it would be bad too, since I may have showered a bunch of motorcyclists with mud.
But my car is so easy to identify I doubt it’d make a difference whether I stalled or not. And there were cars stopped and making U-turns all over the place that made navigation a lot harder. Was practically shakin’ when the car felt like it wanted to stop here and there. Nature sure is a force to reckon with.
Note to self: Don’t drive like a madman after going through a flood knowing that you have brake pads without the pads. And beware of irate and wet motorcyclists.
Had a terrible terrible day yesterday. Lots of crap were happening at work. Ended up getting partially blamed for someone else’s fault. Sux.
Was at TMC at night. Waiting outside in my car at the side of the road. Lots of honking at the back. Ignored them. Ample space for cars to pass on the left anyways. Then this guy drives by and honks and does a muted tell-off. I was like WTF? I’m here in front. I’m not blocking any cars trying to come out of their lots. I didn’t ask all those fucking idiots to wait up in a line behind me. Wasn’t it so obvious that I was just waiting my car, minding my own business? If it was SOOO damned important for you to pass, why don’t you come out of your cars and knock on my window? No guts? Scared I would’ve whacked you up? And I would have too…
That episode got me soo riled up… ended up nudging another car out of my parking lot. Sigh.. they need more range on these reverse sensors. I didn’t seem to hit the other guy.. but we were awfully close. No damage to either car, which is a relief. Now this.. I’m willing to apologise. To the honking bunch of losers, i say FUCK YOU and good night.
Feeling better today at least. A friday too. I could really use some therapy right now. Wish I had gotten a water heater installed last weekend so that I can use the home spa unit I mentioned earlier. Hopefully I won’t have to deal with more idiots this weekend.
Don’t have the time or money to attend spa sessions on a regular basis? Too tired at work or restless at night? Try the all new portable home spa system! Woo~ just 15 minutes twice a day for comfort and relief, while clearing out all those toxins from your body. Etc. Etc.
Sounds good, huh? Went to the live demo 3 times over the weekend, and I tell ya… feels kinda good. Skin feels smoother somewhat, but not so radiant yet. Well, we have a unit at home now. Gotta go shop for a water heater and a shower curtain for my tub for maximum effectiveness.
And unfortunately, I am now addicted to the Sims. Even with my slow 500Mhz PC, it’s still fairly playable. And the expansions make the situation worse. I wish I could make as much money as my Sim does… fat chance! Elise SSX is her name. And she uses an official SSX Tricky skin. I had Mac SSX too, but he died in a fire on the first day. Couldn’t cook for nuts.
Yeah, I know the family name sounds stupid. But they’re not real, okay?!
Spent the wee hours of the morning trying to fix the Vacation expansion. Ended up with it working, but I lost all our (my sister’s and my) family data in the process. Nevermind, Mac SSX will live again!
Just sat through all 40 chapters of Marmalade Boy in a few hours. Classic.
I know I’m just going to zone out at work tomorrow. Maybe if I take a vitamin now…

Was supposed to go watch a movie tonight with some colleagues, but there isn’t really anything interesting to watch. So now I’m just back home laying back, taking care of VM matters. I also figured out a way to allow public webmail signups for #Bangsar.NET, but a lot of tweaking needs to be done. Prolly will postpone it till who knows when.. but as if you were already expecting it so soon.
Sister went out with Dad to get some P stickers. Yes, she just got her driver’s license. Just great, another MWD (Mad Woman Driver). And I think she can rival aly anytime.
I just hope she doesn’t stick those onto MY car.
